St. Mary Fighting Irish Football founded in 1926 in Woodstock, IL we strive to provide young student athletes the opportunity to develop disciplined life skills through faith, family, friends, and the game of football and cheerleading. We are the oldest and largest youth football program in Woodstock, IL. Our Coaching Staff includes some of the top area high school coaches.
Our athletes come from the McHenry County area. We welcome all athletes regardless of what school they attend now or what high school they will attend in the future. Our program feeds into and is supported by Marian Central Catholic High School, Woodstock High School, and Woodstock North High School. Our program is open to everyone and it is not arequirement that you attend St Mary School or St Mary Church.
St Mary Youth Football participates in the NIFC Northern Illinois Football Conference. We have teams that range in age from 7yrs. old to 8th grade. The communities that participate in the NIFC Northern Illinois Football Conference are: Sycamore, Genoa/Kingston, Roscoe/Rockton, Harvard, Durand/Pecatonica (DU-PEC), Marengo, North Boone, Big Foot, Dakota, Belvidere, Rockford, Machesney Park and Hampshire.
